It is with deep sadness we wish to announce the passing of Wilfred Morris on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, following a massive stroke in Saint John, N.B.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Vivian Morris and the late George Morris.
He worked at University of New Brunswick, retiring due to ill health.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Sisk); daughter, Sarah McKegney, Toronto; brother, Roy; cousin, Stella (Frank) Jones; nephews, Michael (Tania), Jamie, and grand niece, Robyn, all of Saint John.
He is also survived by uncles, Donald (Joyce) Crowell, Halifax, George (Jean) Crowell, aunts Beth (Bill) Noseworthy, all of Glace Bay and Shirley (Ray) McNabb, Sydney River; also numerous cousins in Cape Breton.
A celebration of his life will be held Sat., Feb. 11 at his residence in Saint John.
