WAITE, ROY - After a lengthy illness, the death of Roy Alvin Waite, age 73, of Jemseg, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital, Oromocto, NB, on February 7, 2012. He was born on April 10, 1938, in Tyne Valley, PEI, the son of the late Alvin and Dorothy (Strongman) Waite. Roy is survived by daughter Tammie Waite of Wolfville, NS; son Dale and Lana Waite of Belleisle Creek, NB; grandchildren Jacob, Lauren and Luke McNutt, Caleb and Cassie Waite; brother Lloyd of Hampton and Harry of Fredericton; sister Pauline Hutchinson of Bathurst; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Ernest, Jackie, Stewart and Herman; sister Elga.
In respect of Roy’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, are entrusted with arrangements.
