Upon Joe’s retirement, he was well known on coffee row at the Prince Albert Co-op where his fun loving nature, sense of humour, and warm smile was known by all. Joe was a very energetic and fit individual who spent much time walking. Joe pursued his hobby and love of woodworking and his projects were viewed by many at the Prince Albert Exhibition in which he won many ribbons. Joe operated the family farm throughout his working years and continued his active involvement on the farm with his son until he moved to Saskatoon in 2007 when Alzheimer’s disease began limiting his activities. Joe was a very compassionate and caring individual who loved helping his children. At his passing, he resided at the Luther Special Care Home and the family would like to extend their most heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers of the Temperance/Munroe Neighborhood.
