Léo LeBlanc
LeBLANC, LÉO - Léo A. LeBlanc, 78, of Petit-Cap, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton. Born in Petit Cap on May 20, 1933, he was the son of the late Adolphe and Amanda (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. He was a retired fisherman, boat builder and proprietor of L.A. Fisheries. Léo had a passion for hunting, trapping and woodworking. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Aline (LeBlanc); two daughters: Monette Boudreau (Romeo) of Boudreau-Ouest and Micheline Bennett (Dwight) of Irishtown; one sister: Anna Reynolds (Sonny) of Port Elgin; one brother: René LeBlanc of Petit-Cap; five grandchildren; Mario, Mikelle, Renelle, Stephanie and Corey; three great grandchildren; Yannick, Patrick and Jayden; three step-grandchildren; Marc, Steven and Justin. He is predeceased by a son Michel (1989); two sisters: Rita, Marie; three brothers: Joseph, Albert and Philippe.
Cremation has been arranged under the care and supervision of Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main St. Shediac (532-3297). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:30 AM from St. Timothee RC Church, Shemogue. In his memory donations may be made to Dr.Georges-L.
