LeBLANC, NORMAN J. - 1927 - 2012 - Norman J. LeBlanc, 85, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2012, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Olivier and the late Elodie (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc had retired from Eastern Provincial Airways and was a member of Our Lady of Loretto parish. He is survived by his wife, Mary R. (née: Hannan); three daughters: Gisele LeBlanc of Dieppe, Denise LeBlanc-Cormier (Paul Murphy) of Moncton and Claudette LeBlanc (Roland Hebert) of Grande-Digue; two sons: Donald (Jeanne-d’Arc Mallet) of Caraquet and George (Margaret) of Carleton Place, ON; two brothers: Aldric LeBlanc of Irishtown and Roger (Jean) LeBlanc of Cocagne; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers: Alcide, Paul, Romeo and Clarence; one son-in-law, Donald Cormier and also by one daughter-in-law, Anathalie Desrosiers.
Memorial mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn) on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at 10 am. Interment at Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
