WARD, ALLIE MARIE - Allie Marie Ward passed away on February 14, 2012 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Doaktown, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mabel (Betts) Brown. She was a member of the Capital Community Church, Fredericton. In addition to her husband Lawrence Ward, Allie is survived by her children, Aubrey (Kim), Stephen (Terry), Stuart (Teresa), Peggy Sue Dobson (Dan) and Althea Sidor; several grandchildren and two great grandchildren Jordyn and Jaidyn Ward; her sisters Etta Storey, Shirley Connors, Iva O’Donnell and her brothers Jackie, Jimmie and Lawrence. Besides her parents Allie was predeceased by her sister Gracie Kitchen and a daughter Penny (Ward) Hunt.
Family will receive friends at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2pm with Rev. Joseph Beesley officiating assisted by Rev. Stuart Ward and Rev. Jack Leaman. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish remembrances may be made to The Palliative Care Unit at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital.
