KIRKPATRICK, LEE FLOYD - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Lee Floyd Kirkpatrick who passed away at his home in Gondola Point; where he resided with his niece and nephew Barbara and Norman Raynes, on February 13, 2012. Born in 1923 in Hoyt “Wirral, NB”, he was the son of the late Manson and Myrtle Kirkpatrick. Lee was a faithful member of the Calvary Temple Church. Lee was well respected in his work as plant manager of Brook Bond, also known as “Red Rose Tea” for many years from where he retired in 1985. Besides his parents he was predeceased by loving wife Pearle (Townsend) Kirkpatrick; brothers Charles and Earle Kirkpatrick; sisters Gladys Oram, Ila King, and Joan MacFawn. He is survived by his brother Roy (Janet) of Oakville, ON; sisters Elva Saunders of Quispamsis and Helen Cameron of Saint John, brothers-in-law Osborne King of Coburg, ON and Harry MacFawn of Lakeland, Florida; nieces, nephews and friends.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Calvary Temple 93 Sydney Street, on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
