BEED, DOROTHY ANN HOUGHTON (STILES) - Dorothy A.H. (Stiles) Beed, 76, of Moncton and formerly of Wendell St. Riverview, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday February 18, 2012. Born in Dorchester Cape, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Barbara (Houghton) Stiles. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a former campaigner for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, enjoyed nature, planting flowers and working in her garden, playing bridge, bowling and spending time with her family. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her loving children, Carolyn Shaffer (Steve) of Riverview, Donald Beed of Anagance and Dianne Langis (Ian) of Moncton; cherished grand daughter, Kimberly Shaffer of Albert Mines; precious great grand daughter, Ava; sisters, Jeannie D’Antimo (David) and Susan Stiles; brother, Robert Stiles (Pat) and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Douglas W. Beed (Aug. 2008) and brother, David.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm.
