ROBINSON, MICHAEL (MIKE) SHANE - November 12, 1962 - February 18, 2012 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Michael (Mike) Shane Robinson of Moncton and formerly of Riverview, who passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. Mike loved life and everything about it, always smiling and on the go. He cherished time spent with friends and family, whether it be at the lake or on his boat, playing hockey (Dark Horses) or golf. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills football team. Mike was a self employed contractor for Fed Ex ground. He will forever be missed by his daughter, Vanessa Robinson (Jamie Wiswell) of Salisbury, son, Hunter Michael Robinson of Riverview, his mother, Catherine McGowan (Don) of Moncton, his father, Nelson Robinson (Sharon) of Moncton, special friend, Debby Hache of Moncton, maternal step grand parents; Lynn Spence and Jack Sprague, sister, Peggy Sue Gillcash of Etobicoke, ON, brothers; Roger (Patty) of Dieppe and Rick (Kim) of Surrey BC, grandson, Carson James Wiswell, half sister, Robin, step sisters; Joan, Cathy, Marlene and Heidi, step brothers; Paul, Donnie and Ted, as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew.
The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007), on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, with the funeral service to take place on Saturday, February 25, at 11 AM from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Father Allison Carroll officiating.
