
Joshua Sabattis
SABATTIS, JOSHUA JOHN FRANK - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joshua John Frank Sabattis of Kingsclear First Nation on February 18th 2012, at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Center, Halifax NS. He was 28 years old, born on May 16, 1983 in Fredericton at the DECH. He is survived by his mother Victoria Ann Sabattis whom also was his best friend; father Charles Joseph (Allison) Atwin and stepmother Mary Atwin, stepfather Wayne Rosborough; brother Jacob Rosborough; sisters Loretta Sabattis, Sky Sabattis and Allyson Atwin; special niece Cassidy Sabattis, his little princess and Goddaughter; Grandparents Arthur and Loretta Sabattis of Kingsclear; Theresa Atwin also of Kingsclear; his god parents Richard Paul of St. Mary’s and Kim Stenger of Fredericton; Godchildren, Ethan Webb, Nigel Sacobie and O’Shun Sabattis and many more adopted godchildren, whom he adored as well as several aunts and uncles; Claudette, Janet (Claude), Cathy (Calvin) Shelly all of kingsclear and Jimmy (Marsha) of NS. Predeceased by great grandparents, John Frank and Mary Alice Sabattis of Kingsclear and godson Kevin Lee Atwin-Sabattis. Big Josh was well known amongst all of his many friends in his community. He loved the outdoors and gardening. He also danced with Bonnie Kilburn for nine years. He played football for the black Kats at FHS. Graduated from FHS in 2002. He loved to make jewellery and bead work. He loved spending quality time with sister Loretta and baby brother Jacob, special niece Cassidy. He loved all children. Josh wanted to work with children, that was his dream.
Resting at 609 Apartment Ave, Kingsclear First Nation, beginning Thursday, February 23 at 2 PM and Friday February 24, 2012. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Anthony’s Parish, Union Street, Fredericton. Interment back in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Kingsclear. Special thanks to the dialysis Unit in Fredericton and the Doctors and nurses at the QE2 in Halifax 6th floor B Unit, and Point Pleasant Lodge for the hospitality.
