The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, February 18, 2012, of Roy Ramsay, of Summerside and formerly of Conway, aged 74 years. Born in Marshfield, he was the son of the late Erland and Evelyn (Ellis) Ramsay. Survived by his wife Jean (Heffell) Ramsay; daughters Sherri Blakely, Summerside; Cheryl (Peter) Gwynne-Timothy, Halifax, N.S.; their son by choice Brian Neal, Summerside; grandchildren Brandon and Kristen Neal; Adam Gwynne-Timothy; brother Ross (Eileen) Ramsay, Smith Falls, Ont.; sister Ruth Vincent, Dartmouth, N.S.; sister-in-law Irene Ramsay, O’Leary; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Lloyd Ramsay and by a brother-in-law Ian Vincent. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Summerside.
