WRIGHT Christopher Cleave Wright, born December 7, 1911 in Kamloops passed away peacefully February 6, 2007 in Kelowna. Predeceased by his wife, Evelyn. Chris is survived by his children, David (Louise), Patricia (Don) Jones, James (Volga), Norm (Gail); seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his sister Frances Wrightson. Chris taught in Darlington, Chase and Kamloops, was principal of Armstrong High; Superintendent of Schools in Smithers, Burns Lake, Vanderhoof, Creston - Kaslo and Salmon Arm - Enderby districts, retiring in 1974. As a resident of Salmon Arm from 1967 to 2000, Chris was active in his church. He also conducted genealogy research and participated in the United Empire Loyalists Association. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Shuswap Foundation, Box 624, Salmon Arm, B.C. V1E 4N7.
