W. Ronald G. Peterson
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Monday, February 20, 2012, Ron went home to be with his Lord and Saviour at the age of 65 years. Loving husband of Fran (nee Mossman). Devoted father of Charlene Drake (Steve Lidstone), Scott Peterson, Leah Peterson, Valerie Clements, Joy Peterson (Stanley Laybolt) and Sheri Jackson (Jason). Lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and by his aunts and uncles Ruby MacLean (Cleaveland, deceased), Gladys Ryan (Richard, deceased), Gordie Peterson (Julie), DawsonPeterson (Barb) and by many cousins. Ron is survived by his little buddy “Berkley”. Predeceased by his parents George “Big Boy” and Alma (Sherren) Peterson; parents-in-law Rhoda and Stanley Gratto. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Interment later in People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9. Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home or to the Association for Community Living. “Truly loved by his family and his family was truly loved by him.”
