With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Billie.
She was the third child of the pioneering family of William and Annie Kane, of Kane’s Acres Ranch Lillooet, Lytton Road.
Billie was predeceased by her sister Verona Grant (Jim), Mike Kane (Rosemarie), Linda Preston (Ray), her son Roger and her daughter Linda Fletcher.
Billie was born in Vancouver and raised on Kane’s Acres Ranch. She lived most of her life in Lillooet, spent a number of years in Kamloops, most recently residing at Sumac Suites in Lillooet.
Billie is survived by her sister Gwenn Waterhouse, sons Oliver (Gail), Albert (Diana), Cameron, daughter Ruth Morley (Doug), seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the BC Cancer Agency and/or the Brain Injury Association.
