It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche L. Handrigan of St. Lawrence, announces her passing at the US Memorial Health Care Center on Thursday February 16, 2012 at the age of 95. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Son Garrett (Ursula) of Marystown; Daughters Susan (Sam) Tobin of St. Lawrence, Oliva (Hobie) Pike of St. John’s, Constance Handrigan of St. Lawrence; Sister-in-laws Madeline Drake and Hannah Drake; 9 Grandchildren: Bonnie & Paul Tobin, Allison & Keith Pike, Christian, Gregory, Grant, John Paul and Joshua Handrigan; 8 Great-Grandchildren: Victoria & Samuel Pike, Mila & Lucy Pike, Gregory & Maria Tobin, Nolan Handrigan & Owen Handrigan; Pre-deceased by husband Gregory (1982); Infant son John Patrick; Parents Patrick & Susanna Drake; Brother Joseph Michael Drake, Leslie Drake and William Drake.

Funeral Mass took place on Monday February 20, 2012 at 10:30am. Interment followed at Mount Cecilia RC Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Blanche’s memory, donations may be made to Mt. Cecilia RC Cemetery Fund or Charity of one’s choice. No Flower by request of the family.
