Edoaurd Leblanc

LEBLANC, EDOAURD - 1913 – 2012 - Edouard LeBlanc, 98 of Foyer Pauline, Bouctouche, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Thursday February 23rd, 2012. He was married to Jeanne (Boucher) LeBlanc. Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent on June 23rd, 1913, he was the son of the late Fidèle and the late Délina (Pellerin) LeBlanc. Edouard was a carpenter by trade and had a great passion for flowers. He will be sadly missed by his wife Jeanne, his daughter Murielle LeBlanc (Ovila) of Sainte-Maire de Kent, and granddaughter Sylvie. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; Rosée Nowlan (Albert) of Dieppe and Délina Bastarache of Bouctouche, one brother, Albert of Moncton and two step-brothers; Arthur Nowlan (Rita) of Coats Mills and Jim Nowlan (Irène) of Moncton, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by five brothers; Emile, Edgar, Robert, Joseph and Abel, one step-brother; Johnny and three step-sisters; Liliane, May and Stella.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday, February 26 from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday, February 27th, 2012 at 4:00 pm with interment in the Sainte-Marie de Kent RC Cemetery in the spring.
