DIMUZIO, ETTORE - Ettore Dimuzio, 76, of Moncton, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on July 26, 1935 in Bisenti, Italy, he was the son of the late Nicola and Loreta (DeParide) DiMuzio. He was the owner of Ettore Fashion Tailor in Moncton for over 40 years. He enjoyed bicycling and traveling but his passion was for soccer and Formula 1 racing. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ida (Troisi); his son, Marco (Mylène Surette) of Maplewood, New Jersey; his daughter, Paola (Simon Poulin) of Quebec City, QC; two sisters: Anna and Maria, of Rome, Italy; four grandchildren: Elyse, Vanessa, Bianca and Massimo, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by three sisters: Carmela, Pina and Francesca as well as two brothers: Saverio and Dante. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the nurses, the doctors and the staff of the oncology and palliative care units at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton, on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe.
