It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Kevin Michael Bergen at the Victoria Hospital with family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the age of 46 years. Kevin lived his entire life in Prince Albert, attending Vincent Massey and PACI schools and graduated from Carlton Comprehensive High School in 1983. Kevin was a gentle soul that accepted all of life’s challenges quietly. Kevin lived and loved his life to the fullest, enjoying every moment of life with his wife and children, always being a loving husband and father. He loved tennis, music, crossword puzzles, bowling, Conan the Barbarian comic books, as well as playing pool and hanging out with his lifelong friends. Kevin was well respected by all that knew him through his life, including co-workers, family and friends, who all enjoyed his playful sense of humor. Kevin enjoyed volunteering at Alexis and Julian’s school, St. John’s Community School, as his children were his world and he enjoyed spending as much quality time as he could with them making lifelong memories.
