GEORGE DALTON (BUSTER) TAYLOR Passed away on Friday, March 9th, 2007 at Peace Arch Hospital in Surrey, B.C. He was born on August 27, 1922 in Sedgewick, Alberta. He was predeceased by his wife Violet Amy Wynne Taylor in March 2000. George is survived by his children Gerald (Donna) Taylor, Barry (Cathy) Taylor, Donald (Norma) Taylor, Joy (Al) Baynes and siblings Robert, William, Betty, Marguerite as well as eleven grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. George's tireless devotion and service to the local sports community has given him countless memories and literally hundreds of athletes that he considered "his" kids. Internment will be at the Barriere Cemetery on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception at the Barriere Legion. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a future donation to the forthcoming George D. Taylor Foundation for the Community Athlete be considered.
