Passed away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, March 2, 2012, John Strickland of Clarenville, aged 77 years. Predeceased by his three brothers Wesley, Reginald and Stanley. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Martha of 48 years, daughters Sheila (Chris) Lewis, Elizabeth (Peter) White; sister Caroline Strickland, Irene Taylor; brother Raymond (Doris); sisters in law Doris Strickland, Millicent Strickland, Myrtle Strickland, Phyllis (Wesley) Harris, Myrtle Spencer, Marie (Henry) Hunt, Dorothy (Gerald) Crant and a circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Monday, March 5, 2012 from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville. In his memory donations may be made St. Mary’s Anglican Church Rectory Fund.
