Long time employee of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a short illness on Sunday, March 4th, 2012, at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wife of 65 years Ann (Corcoran), (2009); sons: Eugene (1954), Jimmy (1989), Bob (2008) and Brian (2009) and other members of the Stamp and Corcoran families. Leaving to mourn his children: Gary, Goose Bay, NL, Wynann (Bill Smith), Paul (Darlene Grouchy), Joey (Karen Power); daughters-in-law: Gloria and Suzanne, ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; special friends: Harry Lacey and Shirley Breen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 from The Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
