BERNA (MCDOUGALL) JAQUES

Berna Jaques, of Moose Jaw, SK passed away March 6, 2012, at age 98. Berna was the eldest daughter of Mary and Clyde Jaques of Briercrest, Saskatchewan. Berna was predeceased by her sisters Arlie (Bud Pieper) Armstrong, BC, Ruth (Gordon Harland) Winnipeg, MB; her brothers David (Gladys) Chilliwack, BC, and Byron (Gladys) Assiniboia, SK. Berna was born and raised in Briercrest, and moved to Moose Jaw with her mother in 1964, and later became a resident of Providence Place in Moose Jaw. She will be missed by family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced at that time. Donations in memory of Berna may be made to Providence Place Foundation, 100 – 2nd Ave. N.E. Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 1B8. The family would like to thank all the staff at Providence Place who provided her with care and comfort during her long term residency.
