Emma grew up on a farm with her four brothers and three sisters where she learned to cook, bake, crochet, embroider and numerous other tasks. Emma married her best friend and loving husband Leo on Nov 17, 1952 and lived on the Folk homestead where they farmed and raised their family of seven children. She enjoyed music, dancing, singing, gardening, baking, embroidering, crocheting, playing cards, board games, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends which she treasured more than anything.
