Elizabeth Ann Young, 51 of Eskasoni, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Rose (Paul) Cabot.
Elizabeth’s passion was to her family, continuously devoting her time to her children, grandchildren, Fred, brothers, and all other members of her family and friends.
She is survived by her life partner, Fred Young; daughters, Nancy (Thunder) Paul, Dartmouth; Marina (Terry) Young, Halifax; Shelley Young, Ottawa; Renee (Thomas) Young, Mary Tena (Andle), both of Eskasoni; son, Byron Young, Halifax; brothers, Andrew, Colin (Sheila), Michael (Margie), Albert (Corneilia), Frank Jr. (Olive), Kelvin (Elena), Richard (Nadine); grandchildren, Josef, Ava, Emma, Honour, Jacen, A’Leah, Seanna; godchildren, Serena, Norma, Nelishia, Gubou Jij, Carol, Kelvin Jij, Krissy and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Elizabeth Young will take place after 7 p.m. at the Gabriel Center, Eskasoni today (Tuesday). Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church with Rev. Martin MacDougall officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
