Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Home on Sunday, March 11, 2012, Marion Browne of St. John's. Born on November 4, 1922, she was the last surviving child born to John and Margaret Dwyer of Bell Island. Marion is predeceased by her infant daughter, Elaine, sons: David and Larry, and grandson Alan. Leaving to mourn her loss are her husband Roderick; children: Garrett (Beatriz Ortiz), Betty McDonald, Sheila (Chris Ford), Philip (Sandra), Maureen Oliver, Keith and Elaine (Johnny McCarthy); grandchildren: Anita, Valerie, Claudette, Andrew, Jessica, Maureen, Colleen, Deanne, Mike, Gregory, Rosalind, Kevin, Christopher, Roderick, Melissa, Anita, Shannon, Tarah, Laura, Lyndsey and Nate; great-grandchildren: Michaela, Isabelle, Matthew, Shelby and Jordan. Marion loved her garden. Flowers are welcome or a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NL. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Tuesday & Wednesday from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood.
