Exelia Cormier

CORMIER, EXELIA - 1917 - 2012 - Exelia Cormier, 94, of Villa du Repos, Moncton, NB and formerly of Laurier Street, Dieppe, passed away on Monday, March 12th, 2012, at her residence. Born in Grande-Digue, NB, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Annie (née: LeBlanc) Poirier. Mrs Cormier had been a school teacher. She is survived by two daughters: Roberta (late Mike) Nasswetter of Montreal, QC and Claudette Cormier of Moncton; two sons: Claude (Gloria) of Cocagne and Bertin (Gloria) of Grande-Digue; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 1977; seven sisters: Lina, Beatrice, Marie, Rosanna, Diana, Zelma and Yvonne and also four brothers: Arthur, Amand, Albert and Arcade.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Friday, March 16th, 2012 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Providence Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.chartersville.com
