It was deep sadness that the family announces the passing of David Roland Williams on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, Ont., after a very long courageous battle with colon cancer. Born Feb. 27, 1935. Son of the late Walter and Susan Williams. Beloved husband of Anne MacLellan Williams for 57 years. Much loved father of David (Debbie); Darlene (Cliff); Shirley (Scott); Donald (Kimberely) and Dwayne. Loving Grampa of David (Tammy), Rebecca (Kevin), Daryl, (Amanda), Sarah, Kayla, Bobbi-Jo, Jaymi-Jo, Cliffie (Stacie), Vanessa (David), Jayson (Becka), Jonathan (Elise), Christopher (Lauren), Whitney and Jessica. Great-grampa to Austin, Donevan, Aysia, Oasa, Ryan, Aiden, Ella, Jayman, Jenica, Andrew, Domanic, Riley, Nowlan and Grayson. Predeceased by his brother Don and his brothers-in-law Urban, Allen, Ralph, Gerry, Peter, Baby David and Baby Ralph. The family wishes to thank the kind and compassionate care David received while in Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Palliative Care. The family extends their gratitude to Dr. E. Osborne, Dr. R.
