It is with sadness that the family of the late Rita Ann Hibbs announces her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, Botwood, NL at the age of 66 years. Rita is predeceased by her husband, Jim; daughter, Cathy; parents, John and Margaret Mullins; Sister Jean; brother, Myles. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sisters, Geraldine (Wesley), Isabel Peyton, Theresa (Edward), Margaret (Phil); granddaughter, Jasmine Sheppard; as well as a large circle of niece’s nephew’s relatives and friends. The visitation took place Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Botwood Funeral Home 147 Commonwealth Drive, Botwood, NL. The funeral service took place Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11 am from Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Botwood, NL. The interment followed at the The Salvation Army Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Church Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home.
