Shawn passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 15, 2012, at 48 years of age, after courageously battling ALS for the last two years.
Cherished husband of Debbie (nee Corbett). Beloved father of Alyssa, Brehan, Connor and papa of Bentley. Dear son of Malcolm and Ruth MacNeil and son-in-law of John and Carol Corbett. Dearest brother of Debbie, Bruce (Tricia) and Michelle (Allan). He will be sadly missed by his extended family in Cape Breton especially his nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held in July of this year in Shawn’s beloved Big Pond, Cape Breton.
