TOPOROWSKI Maurice Paul passed away suddenly on June 7, 2007 at the young age of 69, leaving behind his loving wife Laurette of Osoyoos. Maurice was predeceased by his parents Dominic and Kathleen. He will be deeply missed by his son Glen of Vancouver; daughter Sandra (Steve) of Kamloops; grandchildren Deminica, Elysia, Christopher and Brianna; sister Pat (Sandy) of Maple Ridge; brother Bob (Betty) of New Westminster; and many other family members and friends. Maurice worked for the Government of B.C. in his early years, living in many communities throughout B.C. He continued his education in South Africa, then returned here to teach school in Trout Lake, Revelstoke, Zeballos and Trail, before retiring to Osoyoos. He had a gentle soul. He loved to hunt and fish, and to philosophize about life. He was born to teach; his mind never stopped. He had a memory like no other; he taught us to always think outside of the box.
