Cochrane, R. Keith – 71, Bible Hill passed away March 29, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. He was a son of the late Reginald and Myra Cochrane. Keith served in the army from 1958 to 1967. He retired in 2002 after working for 35 years at Crossley Carpets, Truro. Keith was a member of the Bible Hill Volunteer Fire Department and also a member of the Hubtown Dart League for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Edith; daughters, Debbie, Vicki (Paul), Pam, all of Bible Hill; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tyler, Austin; sister, Norma Eldridge, Windsor; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Les; son-in-law, George Cock. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with a Firefighters Tribute Service at 7 pm; memorial service on Monday, April 2nd at 2 pm with Rev. Donna Lawrence officiating, all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
