Raising sheep was what he enjoyed doing. Jack also owned a sheep company in Frobisher, SK and McCauley, Manitoba. In years past he also operated a motion picture theatre in Tompkins, and did carpenter work. He was a member of the Anglican Church, the Masonic Lodge and served on the Village council in Tompkins. He enjoyed curling, old tyme music and dancing as well as playing cards. He always enjoyed coffee-row in Tompkins and later in Swift Current at Tim Hortons. Jack always enjoyed family gatherings and gathering with friends. Whether it was a family reunion, gathering over the holidays or just a random get-together. He was always proud of his family and their accomplishments, he enjoyed the many laughs he shared when everyone was together and sometimes a few tears. He liked to see everyone together. Our family gatherings have changed again now that Dad's gone, but we will all gather again someday. Always in our hearts, your family.
