The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, of Laurinda Gallant of Wellington at the age of 96 years. She is the daughter of the late Frank I. and Catherine (nee Kerwin) Gallant. She is survived by many cousins and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Alice. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Friday then to Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Visitation shall be received on Friday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated. She was a past member of the C.W.L. and a past member of Immaculate Conception Parish Council. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
