Tom Waterhouse of Kamloops, B.C. passed away on March 29, 2012 at the age of 73 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Janet; children Dawn Waterhouse of Port Moody, B.C., Russ Waterhouse of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey; grandchildren Nicole, Natalie, Rachel, Roxanne, Samantha; great grandchild Willow; sister Pat.

Born in England, adventured in Cyprus before settling in Canada in 1974. Tom loved the outdoors, walks amongst the flowers with mum in the high mountain meadows, a round of golf. Above all else he was devoted to his family who shared many special moments together including the recent celebration of 50 years of marriage.

Tom loved to sing and was a part of many groups over the years. Life brought many close friendships from England, through Ontario and on to British Columbia. Dad will always be remembered by the generosity of his heart, sharp sense of humour and time spent helping others. Most of all he is remembered for the love and devotion to Janet who he courted by letter while serving overseas, and met for the first time in a train station - together ever since.

A Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive.

A Memorial Donation in Tom's memory would be gratefully accepted and may be made to the BCgrasslands.org.
