CULBERSON, WILLIAM EDGAR - February 5, 1932 - March 31, 2012 - William E. Culberson of Jacksonville, New Brunswick passed away on March 31, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Jacksonville, NB on February 5, 1932. Son of the late Ernest and Janet (Carpenter) Culberson. Survived by his loving wife, Lois (Sherwood) Culberson; daughters, Nancy (Randy) McLean, Sheila (Ronald) Nickerson, and son Ernest (Beverley) Culberson; grandchildren: Jason (Sarah) McLean, Rachel (Gordon) Monteith, Melody McLean, Monica (Peter) Groom, Daniel (Krista) Nickerson, Grace Nickerson, Jackson Culberson, Karina Culberson; great-grandchildren: Lindsey, Peter, William, Isaac and Laura Groom, Landon Monteith, Hunter McLean. Also survived by his sisters, Doreen (Fred) Thomas, Dorothy (John) Milbury, his brother, Howard (Betty) Culberson. Sister-in-law, Myrtle Culberson and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by grandchildren, Michael Howard McLean and Peter Thane Culberson, by sisters Ruth Markey, Kathryn Strong and brothers Ralph Culberson and Clarence Culberson.
Visitation from The Culberson Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Jacksonville United Baptist Church with Rev. Todd McLeod officiating. Private interment to follow the service at the Upper Jacksonville United Baptist Cemetery.
