Robert Lorne McDonald (Bob)
October 22, 1951 – March 29, 2012
We are saddened to announce that our beloved Bob passed away after a long illness. He was predeceased by his father Keith and leaves to mourn his mother Inga, his daughter Kelly Marcynuk, his stepson David Montieth (Krista), his brothers Dan (Blanche), Alan (Deborah), sister Kris and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends, and his special friend Irene Ludwikowski. Bob had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. His special pleasures included walks in the Qu’Appelle Valley with his dear friend, his dog Bearla. He was able to travel with his brother Dan to several northern fishing camps and he had many stories to tell of these trips. Bob will be remembered for his many years devoted to CP Rail. Memorial donations to World Vision would be most appreciated. A Memorial Service for Bob will take place on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Acadia-McKague’s Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Dr., Saskatoon, SK). There will also be a gathering at the Eagle Centre on Friday, April 6, 2012 between the hours of 2 & 5 p.m. Condolences to the family may be emailed to www.acadiamckaguesfuneralcentre.com .
