Charlie Paquet

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie Paquet after a brief battle with cancer.
Charlie was the son of the late Marshall & Edith (Smith) Paquet.
He is survived by his sister Ella (Eddie) Bauer, Saskatoon; his brother James (Joyce) Paquet, Alder Point and many nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters Irene (Phil) LeBlanc & Cecilia (Paul) Mahoney and his companion Mary ‘Babs’ MacIsaac.
Charlie sailed on the Great Lakes for a few years. He then went to school and received his Civil Engineer's License. He spent the rest of his working years as a superintendent of many large buildings in Montreal. After he retired he moved back to Cape Breton to be near family and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. There will be no visitation of Funeral Service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
