Kesick, Franz Ferdinand – Hilden, passed away peacefully at home, April 6 2012 at the age of 60. Born in Cochenour, Ontario he was the son of the late Fraser and Mary Kesick. He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Lucas, Hilden; daughters, Tracey Lundstrom (Kesick), Toronto, Alana, Kaylin and Linnea, all of Red Lake, Ontario, Heather Lucas, Indian Brook; son, Kyle Lucas, Hilden. Loving Poppa to Fiona, Seamus, Kailey Mai, Kaitlyn, Kirah, Karis, Skyler and Nimkeek Jr. (Baby Poppa); brothers, Brooks (Sally), Alberta, Blake, Fort Francis, Lawerance (Kathleen), Red Lake; sister, Karen (Richard), Cochenour, Ontario. He was predeceased by brothers, David and Sam. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St. Truro. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. A Traditional Indigenous Memorial to celebrate Franz’s life will take place on Wednesday, April 11 at 1 p.m., both in the Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro. A separate memorial will be held in Red Lake, Ontario at a later date. No flowers by request.
