WILEY, FRANK BURTON - 75, of Greenwood, NS - It is with great sadness that we announce that Frank passed away suddenly on Friday, April 6, 2012 in the Halifax Dialysis Centre. He was born July 22, 1936 in Chipman, NB, the son of the late Ralph and Frances (Daye) Wiley. Frank served 32 years in the RCAF on many postings and upon retirement he worked many years as a skilled and gifted finish carpenter from his home until health prevented him. Frank is survived by his loving and caring wife of 52 years the former Marguerite Desjarlais. Sons David (Cathy), Rodney (Ida) and daughter Lynn Marie. Grandchildren Rebecca, Frank, Thomas, Maja, Michael and Stepfanie; great grandchild Hank William. Brothers Donald (Hilda), Calvin (Kathryn), Edward (Elaine), Jerry, Richard and sisters Erna (Harry) Munroe, Lois Fournier, Patsy Spencer, Grace Ann Smith and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and by Frank’s and his family’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private service and interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or charity of choice.
