It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Veronica Farrell of St. George’s, NL announce her passing at her family residence, St. George’s, NL on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn her husband John Farrell; sons: Kevin (Mary), Allan (Marlene), Dan (Elizabeth); daughters: Yvonne (Alfred) Ward, Linda (James) Bennett, Judie (Michael) Fogarty, Marguerite (Steven) Coady; grandchildren: Jason (Wendy) Ward, Kevin (Chrissy) Ward, Cory (Erin Vancamp) Bennett, Bradley Bennett, Jonathan (Muna) Farrell, Tracy Farrell, Brandon Farrell, Jessica Coady; great-grandchildren: Ryan & Nicholas Ward, Lucas & Christopher Ward and a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents George & Ethel Rose; son John Farrell. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in St. George’s from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Court House Road, St. George’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Parish.
