CHALES EARL (CHUCK) TRELEAVEN

Born In: Bittern Lake, Alberta, Canada
Born: November 5th, 1929

Passed in: Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada
Passed on: April 3rd, 2012

Passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Tuesday April 3 2012. Born November 5, 1929 at Bittern Lake, Alberta.
Chuck is survived by Hedwig, his loving and caring wife of 60 years, and their three children, Lorna King of Mission, Wes Treleaven (Margaret) of Victoria and Beth Harding (Gord) of Trail, and 11 grandchildren: Candace, Josh, Ben (Robyn), Adam, Brooke, Caleb, Rosey, Brandon, Jesse, Jasmine and Venus and one loved equally, Summer. A delight to Chuck and Haddie; Dylan and Morgan, their great grandchildren in Cold Lake, Alberta.
Chuck married Hedwig (nee Bilau) on June 30, 1951. Starting off as a carpenter and foreman in construction in Edmonton, he moved on to great adventures up north on the DEW Line and in the BC interior working on large projects. The family lived for 10 years in Port Alberni while Chuck became a millwright then finally settled in Kamloops in 1971. Chuck spent many years working at Kamloops Lafarge Cement where he made lifelong and faithful friends.
His all surpassing passion was for the Lord and the Bible. He used his great talent for teaching (especially children) in Dallas, Barnhartvale Baptist Church and then attended Kamloops Full Gospel Tabernacle. In his later years Chuck worked on a new skill of note: memorizing large portions of the Bible. It was a marvel to hear him lovingly and powerfully quote his favourite portions of scripture, encouraging all who listened.
The Memorial Service to Celebrate Chuckís life will be held at Kamloops Full Gospel Tabernacle, 1550 Tranquille Road at 2:00 p.m., Friday April 13.
In lieu of flowers please make a generous donation to the Kamloops Mission (another place Chuck worked and ministered for years).
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the staff of 7B at Royal Inland Hospital and the Kamloops Hospice, you are all awesome. Thanks to all our friends and family who loved and supported us and to all the Believers who prayed for Chuck.
