DIXON, DERRECK - Derreck Lee Dixon, loving spouse of Vickie Muise, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 9, 2012, with his family at his side, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1958 in Saint John he was the son of the late Margo June Crockett. Derreck was an avid golfer at the Westfield Golf Club and played men’s touch football with the Raiders. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be sadly missed. In addition to his loving spouse Vickie of 34 years, he is survived by his son Jason Muise (Jenny) of Saint John; daughter Karey Daley of Saint John; cherished granddaughters Kayla and Cassidy Muise, several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, April 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
