THOMPSON, KENNETH ALLEN - Kenneth A. Thompson of Christie Ridge, York Co., NB passed away April 9, 2012 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Targetville, Kent Co., NB in 1931, he was a son of the late David and Greta (Roberts) Thompson. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Doris (Roberts) Thompson; his children, Donna Stewart (Everett), Amherst, NS, Jerrold Thompson (Brenda), Moncton, NB, Steven Thompson (Debbie), McAdam, NB, Ricky Thompson (Karen), Christie Ridge, NB and Timmy Thompson (Tabatha), Targetville, NB; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Thompson (Linda), McAdam, NB; two sisters, Nellie Symes, Fords Mills, NB and Agnes Langille, Nova Scotia; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn; three grandchildren, Michael, Darrell and Jonathan and several brothers and sisters.
Visiting hours will be held at Voice of Pentecost Church, 82 Harvey Road, McAdam, NB on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Tompkins officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Thompson, Jeffery Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Tony Thompson, Damian Estey and David Thompson.
