LYNCH, GEORGE - Mr. George Lynch of Poodiac passed away on April 8, 2012 at the age of 95. He was the son of the late Samuel and Fannie (Lisson) Lynch as well as the husband of the late Florence Lynch. George is survived by his daughter, Georgie Greer; his son, Wallace (Lillian); his grandchildren: Chris Greer, Tony Greer (Kim); Sam Cruickshank and Eddie Heath, Corey Lynch and his wife Amy, Shawn Lynch and Crystal Pasch; nine great grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Grace; his close friend, Gail Hachey; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters: Mildred Armstrong, Ethel Tays, Susan Ericson, Evelyn Linden, Beatrice (Dolly) Hodgin and Dorothy Anderson and by his brothers: Russell, John, Harvey and Murray Lynch.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506)433-1176 where visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm with an Orange Lodge Tribute beginning at 5:45pm. A Celebration of George’s life will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 from Wallace Community Chapel at 2:00pm. Donations made to the Orange Lodge, All Saints Anglican Church or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
