Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on April 11, 2012. Retired Fire Capt. Robin H. Jones, aged 76 years. Predeceased by parents Sydney and Pearl Jones, stepmother Gladys Jones, father-in-law G.E. and mother-in-law Adah Brown, brothers-in-law Robert Brown and Ches Peet. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend Cynthia (nee Brown); sons: Kenneth, Peter (Brenda); daughters: Cathy, Bev McKearney and the light of his life grandson Sean McKearney; sister-in-law Blanch Peet of Grand Falls.
Also leaving to mourn his close friends John and Patricia McCarthy, Evangeline and Earl Snelgrove along with other relatives, friends and neighbors. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Saturday, April 14, 2012 and Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and interment will be held at a later date.
