CLIFFORD On Wednesday, August 22, 2007, Mrs. Jean May Clifford passed away peacefully at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her loving son Marvin (Bernadette) of Quesnel, two granddaughters Sheila and Charmaine both of Quesnel; her niece Marilyn McEwen of Ucluelet; also her loving homemaker, Ida Watson. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene in 2005 and her daughter Vivian in 1993. Jean was born on Prince Edward Island on April 11, 1910 and she came to Kamloops in 1920 by rail. She spent her life in the Kamloops and Shuswap area. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses and was strong in her faith. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all the nursing staff at Ponderosa Lodge and Royal Inland Hospital. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses at Chase, B.C. Arrangements are entrusted to Schoening Funeral Service, telephone 374-1454.
