March 16, 1947 to April 04, 2012. Passed peacefully away at the age of 65 after a short but courageous battle with cancer, at the Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital, Labrador City, NL in the presence of his loving family, Maxwell (Max) White. Pre-deceased by his father and mother, Douglas and Phyllis White. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 43 years, Lillian; daughter Monica; son Jason (Kara); grandchildren: Julia, Bailey and Terri-Anna; brothers: Ross (Maxine), Tony (Dorothy); sister Janice (Ewart); brothers-in-law: Tom Janes (Pearl), Ross Janes (Pam) and Baxter; sister-in-law Pearl Churchill (Ray); all his nieces and nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Direct cremation has taken place. Memorial service was held on April 09, 2012 at Carol United Church at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Max’s memory can be made to Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre or to a charity of one’s choice.
