CHANCEY, Robert – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, April 12, 2012, after a lengthy illness, Robert Alex Roy Chancey, aged 67 years. Predeceased by parents, Roy T. and Blanche (Adams) Chancey, sister Rita Margaret (Chancey) Stevens, and brother-in-law, Frederick J. Stevens. Leaving to mourn with fond memories sisters: Shirley Fraize (Bob) and Joyce Emberley (Ralph); brother, Wayne (Liz); nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends and his lifelong friend, Gerald Rice. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, April 15th at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service on Monday April 16th at 11:00 a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel and inurnment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
