Margaret Jessie Peterson passed away peacefully at Pasqua Hospital on April 13, 2012, after a short battle with cancer. She was born on the family farm north of Mortlach on August 10, 1925. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Clayton; 6 brothers, and a sister. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Lyla of Langham, SK; sons: Larry (Joanne) of Cowichan Bay, BC, Wayne (Deb) of Sherwood Park, AB, Don (Gwen) of Moose Jaw, SK; daughter, Janis of Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren: Jenifer, Mark, Alison, Erik, Verenna, Vanessa, and Layne; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and Verity Willway. Special thanks to the staff at Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, Ward 3D, and Palliative Care units at the Pasqua Hospital, as well as all the Home Care nurses and staff who cared for Margaret at home. The family is also truly grateful for the many kind neighbours and friends who visited Margaret at home. Memorial Service will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 190 Massey Road, Regina, SK at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18. 2012 with Pastor Jeff Tank officiating.
