Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on April 9, 2012 at the age of 87 years, Mrs Ada Mae Reeves of Englee, NL. She was born June 5, 1924. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons Harold, Harrison (Doris), Alfred (Shirley), Derek (Linda), and Wilfred (Josie); daughters Nellie (Tom), Margaret (Bill), Barbara (Baxter), Josephine (Woodrow), and Ruby (Wayne); 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sister Neta Decker; sisters-in-law Nellie Pilgrim, and Winnie Reeves, and a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by husband Sidney Reeves, daughter Mary (David Fillier), her parents Mary and George Packwood (Pacquet). Visitation was held at the Salvation Army church in Englee from where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 13 with Majors Henry and Beatrice Bingle officiating. Interment followed at the church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
